Kitchen Trends

According to a post in Freshome,
"These days, two-toned kitchen cabinets are the look everyone seems to be clamoring over".
And they give a set of good-looking examples, one of which is with a similar to the Pantone's shade of  purple paint on the lower cupboards:

Reading this post I realized that most of my kitchen projects are exactly two-toned:

So, I don't think this can be considered a new trend, but still, like the idea to use two toned cabinets and make the kitchen more interesting.

What do you think?

I plan to post more about kitchen trends, especially when we get nearer to the coming Milan Design Week in April, where kitchens and bathrooms are going to be basic themes.

Milan Design week 2018 - a Glimpse

Just a few weeks away from Milan Design Week 2018 (Apr 17, 2018 – Apr 22, 2018) we are all curious to have a glimpse at the new products that will be launched there.

More cozy and artistic examples from Maison et Objet 2018

This is a trend that I like very much - cozy warm colour scheme with a lot of velvet and other textural materials + Art Deco elements, proved with photos from the albums of Architonic:

Stockholm Funiture & Light Fair - a Glimpse

For those of us who did not go, this is a good chance to have a glimpse to the atmosphere. The photos are from Nordic Design News.
I would like to have this ondulating heap of drawers in my home :)
Soft forms, curves, warm colour scheme and velvet - the same trends as at the IMM Cologne and Maison et Objet last month.

Maison&Objet 2018 - Luxe and Art Deco
